My Ranking of KISS’ Discography

KISS is my favorite band of all time.

I love every album and every lineup.

I have seen them 11 times in concert.

They were my first concert.

They mean the world to me.

I don’t always agree with everything they say, but I still love them to death and I will love them until I’m gone.

Every time I’ve seen them, I felt 16 again when I first discovered them.

Yeah I was late, but better late than never.

And frankly, I think it was just in time because the first two times I saw them was the original lineup!!

Doesn’t get any better, although as I said, I love every lineup and some stuff that was done later I prefer over the older stuff.

This is very tough and I’ve tried this many times, but have never typed my rankings of KISS’ massive discography.

Well, I’m going to try to rank them here.

I’m not going to include every live album that’s been released (they’re all good), but I’ll include the big ones.  Here we go.

  1. Alive!
  2. KISS
  3. Hotter Than Hell
  4. Love Gun
  5. Dressed To Kill
  6. Rock And Roll Over
  7. Destroyer
  8. Dynasty
  9. Alive II
  10. Gene Simmons (yes this is a solo album, but it has the KISS logo on it)
  11. Ace Frehley (yes this is a solo album, but it has the KISS logo on it)
  12. Paul Stanley (yes this is a solo album, but it has the KISS logo on it)
  13. Peter Criss (yes this is a solo album, but it has the KISS logo on it)
  14. Unmasked
  15. Revenge
  16. Creatures Of The Night
  17. Asylum
  18. Lick It Up
  19. Crazy Nights
  20. Animalize
  21. Killers (compilation with 4 new songs)
  22. Music From The Elder
  23. Hot In The Shade
  24. Alive III
  25. MTV Unplugged
  26. Carnival Of Souls
  27. Sonic Boom
  28. Monster
  29. Psycho Circus
  30. Smashes, Thrashes & Hits (compilation with 2 new songs and a vocal re-record)
  31. Symphony Alive IV

  33. Alive:  The Millennium Concert

KISS will always be my favorite band no matter what.

This was very tough, and there is no right or wrong, but this is my ranking of the discography of my favorite band ever.

You wanted the Best.  You Got The Best.  The Hottest Band in the World, KISS!!!!!!!
