GWAR Album Rankings

I must say, I was super late to the band GWAR.

I used to think they were just a joke and a gimmick.

Well, I’m sorry I felt that way.

Yes they have a wild gimmick and are goofy, but that’s the point.

They’re supposed to just be fun, and they are.

Their style of music is mostly Thrash Metal, but also some Punk Rock also.  And the lyrics, imagery, and videos are wild, but not meant to be taken seriously.

It’s all in good fun.

Everyone involved in GWAR, past and present (rest in peace Dave Brockie), are/were very good at what they do.

All great talents.

I’m glad I finally got into their music.

Like all these rankings, it’s tough because their discography is very solid and I could change my mind at any time, but here it goes:

  1. Lust In Space
  2. Hell-O
  3. Ragnarok
  4. Beyond Hell
  5. War Party
  6. Violence Has Arrived
  7. We Kill Everything
  8. The Blood Of Gods
  9. Bloody Pit Of Horror
  10. Battle Maximus
  11. Carnival Of Chaos
  12. The Disc With No Name (EP)
  13. The Return Of Gor Gor (EP)
  14. This Toilet Earth
  15. America Must Be Destroyed
  16. Scumdogs Of The Universe
  17. Live From Mt. Fiji (Live Album)
  18. You’re All Worthless And Weak (Live Album)
  19. The New Dark Ages
  20. The Road Behind (EP)

What can I say?  Better late than never.  GWAR ROCKS!!!!!!
