for a year and a half, with Alice as their opener.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">We had seen them last year on this tour, but since they were so close to home, we figured we better go again.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">And I&#8217;m glad we did.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">First, I&#8217;ll tell you about Alice Cooper.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">He has been doing this since the 60s, and believe it or not, he just gets better with age.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">He was only able to play for about 45 minutes, but he packed quite a punch in so very few minutes.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">He played a very solid hits set with his great band, and had many of his theatrics included throughout the set.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">These included him having a python snake, turning into &#8220;Frankenstein&#8221;, being put in a straight jacket by a crazed nurse (his real life wife, I believe), then escaping it, &#8220;choking&#8221; her, being &#8220;beheaded&#8221;, then coming back to life.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Oh and did I say he played many great songs?! Yes I did.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Again, he has so many great songs and albums that it&#8217;s impossible to fit them into 45 minutes, even 2 hours.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Having said that, he still packed quite a punch.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">If you have never seen Alice Cooper in concert, do yourself a favor and go see him!!<\/div><\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\"><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Now to the headliner. My second favorite band of all time Motley Crue!!<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Like I said, this was my 8th time seeing Motley, and as usual, they rocked!!<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">They played many of their hits, and also had some very cool theatrics.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">They included Drummer Tommy Lee performing a drum solo on a &#8220;roller coaster&#8221; (Yes you read that right), Lead Singer Vince Neil and Bassist Nikki Sixx flying around the arena on trusses, and tons of pyro and fire.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">At the end of the set, the whole band went to a separate stage for their last song of the night, their classic Home Sweet Home.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">It was a very cool moment, as was the whole night.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Vince sang great (Yes you critics. He sang great.), Tommy is a beast on drums as always, Guitarist Mick Mars is a fantastic player, and Nikki Sixx, the leader of the band, is a solid bassist and great songwriter.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I truly hope this is not Motley&#8217;s final tour (Their last show is scheduled for New Years Eve.\u00a0 Edit:\u00a0 they returned in 2019 to record 4 songs for their biopic The Dirt, and returned to touring 2022, but John 5 replaced Mick in 2023), but if it is, they are truly going out on top as one of the biggest and greatest rock bands of all time.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">But if they come back, you can take it to the bank that I will go see them again and again and again.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I love this band so much.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I have many favorite bands and have been fortunate enough to have seen most of them, but this band and their music means more to me than most ever could.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I actually have chills saying this.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Anyway, I hope you have enjoyed this review of another great show I went of Concert: October 11, 2015 Location of Concert: Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY Hi everyone!!\u00a0Well, I went to another fantastic concert last night.My best friend Jamie McClintic and I went to Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky to see Motley Crue and Alice Cooper!!\u00a0This was my 8th time seeing Motley and 4th seeing Alice.\u00a0Motley have been on their &#8220;Final Tour&#8221; for a year and a half, with Alice as their opener.\u00a0We had seen them last year on this tour, but since they were so close to home, we figured we better go again.\u00a0And I&#8217;m glad we did.\u00a0First, I&#8217;ll tell you about Alice Cooper.\u00a0He has been doing this since the 60s, and believe it or not, he just gets better with age.\u00a0He was only able to play for about 45 minutes, but he packed quite a punch in so very few minutes.\u00a0He played a very solid hits set with his great band, and had many of his theatrics included throughout the set.\u00a0These included him having a python snake, turning into &#8220;Frankenstein&#8221;, being put in a straight jacket by a crazed nurse (his real life wife, I believe), then escaping it, &#8220;choking&#8221; her, being &#8220;beheaded&#8221;, then coming back to life.\u00a0Oh and did I say he played many great songs?! Yes I did.\u00a0Again, he has so many great songs and albums that it&#8217;s impossible to fit them into 45 minutes, even 2 hours.\u00a0Having said that, he still packed quite a punch.\u00a0If you have never seen Alice Cooper in concert, do yourself a favor and go see him!!\u00a0Now to the headliner. My second favorite band of all time Motley Crue!!\u00a0Like I said, this was my 8th time seeing Motley, and as usual, they rocked!!\u00a0They played many of their hits, and also had some very cool theatrics.\u00a0They included Drummer Tommy Lee performing a drum solo on a &#8220;roller coaster&#8221; (Yes you read that right), Lead Singer Vince Neil and Bassist Nikki Sixx flying around the arena on trusses, and tons of pyro and fire.\u00a0At the end of the set, the whole band went to a separate stage for their last song of the night, their classic Home Sweet Home.\u00a0It was a very cool moment, as was the whole night.\u00a0Vince sang great (Yes you critics.
