class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"xdj266r x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">Well I went to see my favorite band for the 7th time Saturday night!<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I took my cousin Zachary and a friend to see KISS in Huntington, WV on their final date of this tour.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">According to reports, this was the best attended concert of their tour, and was the most sold show, ticket wise, this venue, the Big Sandy Superstore Arena, has ever had.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">That&#8217;s wonderful news.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Plus, they gave a veteran a new home.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Say what you want, but KISS are a people&#8217;s band.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">This was the first time that KISS had played there since 1988.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">As usual, they put on a great show and to me, their songs are timeless.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">And for those that disagree, you&#8217;re missing out.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Honestly, for the past few years, I&#8217;ve been weirded out by drummer Eric Singer and lead guitarist Tommy Thayer having to dress up as ex members Peter Criss and Ace Frehley, but after watching them play so great again and kicking butt Saturday night, I&#8217;m fine with it again.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">The whole band kicked butt, as usual.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">KISS founders Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are still there, and have always been there.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">They are the Lennon\/McCartney of KISS.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I have been a fan of this band since 1998, which is when I saw KISS for the first time, on December 8th in Charleston, WV.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">A place I hope they will play again, also, because they have not been there since May 2nd of 2000.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I know because I was there for that show, too.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I love all their albums, all lineups, and hope they will make another album.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Paul says they probably will, so I think that&#8217;s money in the bank that it will happen.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I am forever biased towards this band and I hope I always will be.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">People can think whatever they want about me, but no matter what I am, I am a KISS fan.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Through and through.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">In fact, when I die, hopefully no time soon, I want to be buried with something KISS related in my collection.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I love them that much.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I will never apologize for my love for KISS or for anything that I love and will not\/would not change any of it.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">The same goes for all these concerts that I go to.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Again, should I be not spending my money so much and get a life as they say? Yeah, but again, I&#8217;ve had fun. And I will not apologize for it.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I hope someday I&#8217;ll get my life in order more and be okay, but again, I&#8217;ve had so much fun these past 18 years of going to concerts, and discovering all this great music that I love.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Music, and most especially KISS, have never let me down.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">And they never will.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Believe it or not, I have two more concerts to go to this year.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">But they&#8217;re not until November.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">And I have one more night of work until I&#8217;m on staycation for a few days.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Well, it&#8217;s been fun as always and I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I did living it.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Lucas Hannon<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">P.S. Some Noise for me.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">The band is made up of singer John Corabi, guitarists Doug Aldrich and David Lowy, bassist Marco Mendoza, and drummer Brian Tichy.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Great players.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Check them out.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div of Concert: September 10, 2016 Location of Concert: Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington, WV Well I went to see my favorite band for the 7th time Saturday night!\u00a0I took my cousin Zachary and a friend to see KISS in Huntington, WV on their final date of this tour.\u00a0According to reports, this was the best attended concert of their tour, and was the most sold show, ticket wise, this venue, the Big Sandy Superstore Arena, has ever had.\u00a0That&#8217;s wonderful news.\u00a0Plus, they gave a veteran a new home.\u00a0Say what you want, but KISS are a people&#8217;s band.\u00a0This was the first time that KISS had played there since 1988.\u00a0As usual, they put on a great show and to me, their songs are timeless.\u00a0And for those that disagree, you&#8217;re missing out.\u00a0Honestly, for the past few years, I&#8217;ve been weirded out by drummer Eric Singer and lead guitarist Tommy Thayer having to dress up as ex members Peter Criss and Ace Frehley, but after watching them play so great again and kicking butt Saturday night, I&#8217;m fine with it again.\u00a0The whole band kicked butt, as usual.\u00a0KISS founders Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are still there, and have always been there.\u00a0They are the Lennon\/McCartney of KISS.\u00a0I have been a fan of this band since 1998, which is when I saw KISS for the first time, on December 8th in Charleston, WV.\u00a0A place I hope they will play again, also, because they have not been there since May 2nd of 2000.\u00a0I know because I was there for that show, too.\u00a0I love all their albums, all lineups, and hope they will make another album.\u00a0Paul says they probably will, so I think that&#8217;s money in the bank that it will happen.\u00a0I am forever biased towards this band and I hope I always will be.\u00a0People can think whatever they want about me, but no matter what I am, I am a KISS fan.\u00a0Through and through.\u00a0In fact, when I die, hopefully no time soon, I want to be buried with something KISS related in my collection.\u00a0I love them that much.\u00a0I will never apologize for my love for KISS or for anything that I love and will not\/would not change any of it.\u00a0The same goes for all these concerts that I go to.\u00a0Again, should I be not spending my money so much and get a life as they say? Yeah, but again, I&#8217;ve had fun. And I will not apologize for it.\u00a0I hope someday I&#8217;ll get my life in order more and be okay, but again, I&#8217;ve had so much fun these past 18 years of going to concerts, and discovering all this great music that I love.\u00a0Music, and most especially KISS, have never let me down.\u00a0And they never will.\u00a0Believe it or not, I have two more concerts to go to this year.\u00a0But they&#8217;re not until November.\u00a0And I have one more night of work until I&#8217;m on staycation for a few days.\u00a0Well, it&#8217;s been fun as always and I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I did living it.\u00a0Lucas Hannon\u00a0P.S.
