I think Eric Singer said hi and if Gene Simmons said anything, I don\u2019t remember because my head was on cloud 9.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I met my favorite band!!!<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Worth waiting for!<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I actually even met their legendary manager Doc McGhee. He was nice too.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">The show was out of this world. Spectacular visuals, probably the best stage set they\u2019ve ever had. Sam The Serpent is back.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">The band played a lot of songs, and contrary to what ANYONE says, they ARE NOT lip syncing.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I was watching\/listening very closely and I did not see any lip syncing going on, except maybe when Eric is playing piano to Beth.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">And yes Paul has occasional echo effects, but he IS singing.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">So please enough with the lip syncing accusations and crappy YouTube video. Do not try to convince me otherwise. I was there. You were not!!!!<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">And even if Paul was, I actually don\u2019t care because I still had fun!<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Anyway, back to the show.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Great setlist. The band was very playful, to the point at the end of I believe Let Me Go Rock \u2018N\u2019 Roll, they played a little of La Bamba. Very cool!!<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">The band was having fun, playing great as usual, and I know it makes you haters and purists so sick, but the packed crowd at Nationwide Arena was having the time of their life.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I spoke to a guy 20 years younger than me and he said this was his first time seeing the band.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">What a great first time. I also spoke to another guy and he said he and a friend of his were following the band around for some of the dates of this tour.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Why not? I applaud them.<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">All of these people and again everyone else, including myself, in the arena had a great Saturday night.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">It\u2019s nights like this that I live for.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Most of life I find to be annoying and stressful in a bad way.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">This is one of my outlets to have fun with.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I don\u2019t know if I\u2019ll ever see them again, hence why I finally met them, and because financially everything is getting tougher, but if this is the last time, it was as great as the first time I saw them in 1998.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Yes the original lineup but again, no matter what the haters\/purists say, this lineup and all lineups of KISS RULE!!!!!<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I\u2019m a fan of every album and every lineup.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Have I had problems with Eric and Tommy wearing Peter Criss and Ace Frehley\u2019s makeup and costumes? Yes. Is it weird? Yes. But you know what? They\u2019re great and the two main singer\/songwriters who have ALWAYS been there, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, are still there.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Also Paul\u2019s vocals are not flawless anymore, but he is doing the best he can (no not lip syncing but even if he is I don\u2019t care) and you know what? He sounded pretty good to my ears. No not perfect but more than good enough.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Haters continue to hate but don\u2019t try to change my mind because you won\u2019t.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">I won. I always win with KISS.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">Anyway, yes I got a bit defensive but I\u2019m very passionate about this band and all my other favorite bands, wrestlers, and movie\/TV stars.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">This is how I have fun.<\/div><\/div><div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\"><div dir=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/div><div dir=\"auto\">No of Concert: March 16, 2019 Location of Concert: Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH Aside from seeing the original KISS lineup in 1998 and 2000 and seeing The Rolling Stones in 2015, I saw my favorite concert ever last night in Columbus Ohio.\u00a0My 8th time seeing my favorite band KISS.\u00a0But for the first time, I got my picture taken with them!\u00a0As usual with photo ops, it was fairly quick, but I got fist bumps from the band, and Paul Stanley and Tommy Thayer spoke to me and were nice. I think Eric Singer said hi and if Gene Simmons said anything, I don\u2019t remember because my head was on cloud 9.\u00a0I met my favorite band!!!\u00a0Worth waiting for!\u00a0I actually even met their legendary manager Doc McGhee. He was nice too.\u00a0The show was out of this world. Spectacular visuals, probably the best stage set they\u2019ve ever had. Sam The Serpent is back.\u00a0The band played a lot of songs, and contrary to what ANYONE says, they ARE NOT lip syncing.\u00a0I was watching\/listening very closely and I did not see any lip syncing going on, except maybe when Eric is playing piano to Beth.\u00a0And yes Paul has occasional echo effects, but he IS singing.\u00a0So please enough with the lip syncing accusations and crappy YouTube video. Do not try to convince me otherwise. I was there. You were not!!!!\u00a0And even if Paul was, I actually don\u2019t care because I still had fun!\u00a0Anyway, back to the show.\u00a0Great setlist. The band was very playful, to the point at the end of I believe Let Me Go Rock \u2018N\u2019 Roll, they played a little of La Bamba. Very cool!!\u00a0The band was having fun, playing great as usual, and I know it makes you haters and purists so sick, but the packed crowd at Nationwide Arena was having the time of their life.\u00a0I spoke to a guy 20 years younger than me and he said this was his first time seeing the band.\u00a0What a great first time. I also spoke to another guy and he said he and a friend of his were following the band around for some of the dates of this tour.\u00a0Why not? I applaud them.\u00a0All of these people and again everyone else, including myself, in the arena had a great Saturday night.\u00a0It\u2019s nights like this that I live for.\u00a0Most of life I find to be annoying and stressful in a bad way.\u00a0This is one of my outlets to have fun with.\u00a0I don\u2019t know if I\u2019ll ever see them again, hence why I finally met them, and because financially everything is getting tougher, but if this is the last time, it was as great as the first time I saw them in 1998.\u00a0Yes the original lineup but again, no matter what the haters\/purists say, this lineup and all lineups of KISS RULE!!!!!\u00a0I\u2019m a fan of every album and every lineup.\u00a0Have I had problems with Eric and Tommy wearing Peter Criss and Ace Frehley\u2019s makeup and costumes? Yes. Is it weird? Yes. But you know what? They\u2019re great and the two main singer\/songwriters who have ALWAYS been there, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, are still there.\u00a0Also Paul\u2019s vocals are not flawless anymore, but he is doing the best he can (no not lip syncing but even if he is I don\u2019t care) and you know what? He sounded pretty good to my ears. No not perfect but more than good enough.\u00a0Haters continue to hate but don\u2019t try to change my mind because you won\u2019t.\u00a0I won. I always win with KISS.\u00a0Anyway, yes I got a bit defensive but I\u2019m very passionate about this band and all my other favorite bands, wrestlers, and movie\/TV stars.\u00a0This is how I have fun.\u00a0No regrets.
