    Mayhem Festival 2010 Review

My cousin Zachary and I went to this festival and boy what a show it was.

KORN, Rob Zombie, Lamb Of God, and Five Finger Death Punch.

    All in one evening.

FFDP started the show, although for some reason, we ended up not being able to get to our seats for awhile (I know it rained but nothing should’ve prevented us from being as late as we were to our seats.  They were under roof too.)

Either way, what we saw of FFDP was great.  I’ve been a fan since then as I type this in 2023.  They’re one of the bigger rock/metal bands now but they were just blowing up at the time.

Lamb Of God played next.  Another band that is always great live and they’re sooo heavy.  One of the best at what they do.

Rob Zombie was next.  My 2nd time seeing him at this point (I’ve seen him 5 times as of 2023.).  He and his band are always great and I love all of his albums.

This was the 1st and only time I’ve seen KORN to date, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to see them again.  I’ve just been busy as you’ve seen by these reviews.

Anyway, KORN were amazing.  Again, great live band and for the most part, the albums I think are great.

    Great show.

    Seeing KISS On My Birthday

I got to see my favorite band on my 28th birthday.

    KISS!!

I had not seen them in 10 years (I was busy seeing other bands.).

Ace Frehley and Peter Criss were gone by this point, and Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer were there, along with original members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley.

They had released their first studio album since 1998 the previous year, Sonic Boom, which I loved and still do as I type this in 2023.

It was great seeing my favorite band again, as it always is great.

Lots of great songs.  Great stage show.  The best.
